Psalm 5:3 gives a clear, demanding rhythm for the day: ordered prayer, attentive waiting, and obedience before the Lord. When pressure is already knocking, Scripture does not point us first toward panic or self-reliance, but toward the voice of God heard in the morning and a heart made ready to answer Him.
This sermon explores how prayer, watchfulness, and obedience fit together. Prayer is active dependence, watching is active waiting, and obedience is active submission. The Christian life is not merely about asking God for help, but about waiting on Him and then walking where He leads.

The turn of a new year often pushes people toward self-improvement plans, but Joshua 1 calls believers toward something deeper and more enduring. The call is not simply to improve ourselves, but to be courageous, obedient, and shaped by the Word of God in every part of life.
This message presses against shallow resolution-making and instead urges a life marked by Scripture, meditation, and faithful action. Real focus does not begin with our personal goals. It begins with hearing God clearly and refusing to turn aside from what He has commanded.
